About Us
Our Firm
Leadership
BVG4
Architecture
is
a
blending
of
two
firms
with
strong
Texas
backgrounds
and
national
public
safety
experience.
In
2002,
Melissa
Brand-Vokey
started
her
firm
when
she
observed
that
smaller
cities
and
counties
were
not
getting
the
services
from
larger
firms
that
they
required
to
plan
their
most
technical
buildings.
Her
focus
since
then
has
been
to
bring
her
years
of
municipal
and
public
safety
planning
experience
to
her
clients,
so
that
together
they
can
logically
plan
for
growth.
In
2018
Melissa
joined
forces
with
Thom
Powell,
a
cultural
arts
facility
specialist,
to
co-lead
the
Texas
office
of
a
national
public
safety
architecture
firm
out
of
Florida
and
in
2020
believing
that
they
could
better
serve
clients
with
a
more
personal
hands-on
approach,
they
formed
BVG4
Architecture
as
a
full-service
architectural
firm.
BVG4
is
a
Texas
certified
Women
Owned Business.
As
public
safety
and
courts
consultants
BVG4
has
proven
to
be
an
invaluable
part
of
design
teams
across
the
country.
BVG4
often
serves
as
a
translator
speaking
the
language
of
both
public
safety
and
architecture,
helping
the
team
provide
a
design
that
is
both
beautiful,
functional,
and
secure.
We
are
a
resource
with
over
30
years
of
public
safety
design
experience
to
assist
with
the
technical
aspects
of
these unique building types.
